After documentation has been completed they will be displayed as an IDT History at the bottom of the IDT tab.Īdditional information will be published on this website ( Once the nursing facility has documented the IDT meeting in the Portal the (LA/LMHA) will be able to confirm attendance and agreement of the specialized services determined during the IDT and entered in the Portal by the nursing facility. Documentation of the IDT will occur through the LTC Online Portal using the IDT tab on the PASRR Level 1 (PL1 ) Screening Form. These IDT meetings are for the purpose of developing the individual’s comprehensive care plan and to determine what specialized services the individual will receive based on their needs. Effective Jnursing facilities must document Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings that occur between Local Authorities/Local Mental Health Authorities (LA/LMHA) and the nursing facility, on behalf of PASRR positive individuals. On June 25th 2015 the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership implemented a modification to the Long Term Care (LTC) Online Portal.

DADS will also be developing a webpage (which will be linked to the existing Quality Matters site) and a training series for nursing facilities and Local Authorities will be available with a 360 degree view of the entire PASRR process which ends with QSR. Over the next 6 months DADS will be building a larger QSR team which will conduct PASRR compliance reviews state-wide. The review evaluates each step in the process as well as all entities involved, looking to ensure there was correct implementation, accurate evaluation, timely service delivery, person-centered planning, continuity throughout program planning and sufficient progress or achievement of the developed outcome measures. These reviews are done after the identification of specialized services by the joint interdisciplinary team, which includes the nursing facility, Local Authority, and in some cases, community-based providers. Quality Service Reviews (QSR) began across the state a few months ago in a small sample of nursing facilities. Keep your eyes open for this Provider Letter! Quality Service ReviewĭADS with other stakeholders has established some mutually agreed upon outcome measures, which they believe will indicate the level of compliance with the PASRR program requirements, by not only nursing facilities but also the Local Authorities involved in the process. These new requirements will place added responsibilities on the nursing facilities for coordinating assessments and certain types of services.Ī Provider Letter due to come out soon will outline the new responsibilities related to assessment coordination, specialized services, new rule language, and how changes will affect the survey process.
